Old Greenwich sale

(link and pictures to previous rental clisting, but you’ll get the idea)

26 Binney Lane, priced at $1.995 million but sold for $2,355,555. This was built in 1989 by the late Reynolds and Jean Girdler, long time residents with long, long ties to Old Greenwich. How long? Well, Reynolds Girdler’s mother was Bobby Girdler, who was involved with (almost) every worthwhile volunteer organization in town, including founding the Greenwich Point Committee with her mother Helen Binney Kitchel, in 1956. Helen Binney Kitchel’s father, and so Reynolds’ great-grandfather, donated the land and the money to transform the swamp just north of the Village into Binney Park.

So a long time.
