Well, they gave it the old college try

22 Oak Drive, Riverside, was built in 2014 and put up for sale by its owners in June, 2018 for $5.195 million. That price turned out to hold limited appeal to buyers, and 807 days later in September, 2020, the house was sold to its current owners for $3.375 million. Now they, too would like to sell, and have priced it at the same $5.195 the previous owners aspired to. A week later, doubtless under the guidance of their Brown Brothers Harriman broker, they have dropped the price to $4.895.

We’ll hope that it doesn’t duplicate the 2018-2022 sales history exactly, and instead, finds a happy ending long before that.
