Change of course on Riversville

Someone paid $4.5 million for 433 Riversville Road in December 2019, an old house on 13 acres, 3 building lots, and has now put it back on the market, unchanged, for $3.8 Even assuming they get the new price, and I doubt they will, the transaction costs here will make this a painful example of buyer’s remorse.

(UPDATE: I just noticed that these poor chumps were the “winners” of a price war and paid $4.5 million for property asking $3.750. I’ve mentioned here, many times, over many years, that the only winners in price wars are the losers. Not always, but usually.)
