40 W. Elm Street, Unit 4D,E. Listed at $2.750 million, but sold for $3.5. 40 West Elm is one of the best condominiums in town, with updated apartments in a pre-war building (1939), great views out to the Sound, and just two blocks from the Avenue, so I’m not at all surprised that there were multiple bidders for this one.

The buyers have a Riverside Zip, which makes me think that they’ve cashed out their home there, and bought this one to keep a toehold in town. But that’s just conjecture.
