This would blow past any previous sales on Benenson, but that's not unusal for many neighborhoods these days

Having paid $1.550 for 30 Benenson Drive this past July (the price began at $1.375 million), a builder has priced the new proposed house at $4.350. That seems like a lot of money to me, but someone has to break the ice in these old mid-60s developments, I suppose.

SUNNING [for you tanning freaks] NEW CONSTRUCTION on an acre of land. 5 bedrooms ,6 baths, two half baths. High ceilings throughout the home. Large kitchen with separate dining room and a breakfast nook. Great room with fireplace. Hardwood floors. The open floor plan takes full advantage of the backyard area with access to the patio. The lower level is finished with a full bath and a second laundry. There is a pool site and a PICKLE BALL COURT [the new Zebra?] Over 7000 square feet of living space and a 3 car garage. This home offers everything a buyer can imagine.

Here’s the price history for Benenson since 2002 — notice that the sales were all of the original housing stock, with 21 Benenson a do-over, but not new.
