Market evolution

The builder of 95 Connecticut Avenue tried unsuccessfully for years to sell it, starting at $3.695 million in 2013 and going as low as $3.295 in 2018. Fortunately, he was able to rent it during much of that time, so I’m sure he came to no harm, and the passage of time has been good to him: he put it back on the market 35 days ago at $4.395 million and it’s already pending.

For those bemoaning the loss of architectural integrity once found in the original housing stock along CT Avenue, hold your tears on this one— this is what the builder replaced back in 2013:
