What set off the publisher of Greenwich Free Press?

Ms Leslie Yaeger, owner/publisher of Greenwich Free Press, has suddenly taken notice of a competitor, Connecticut Centinal and blasted it as some sort of fraudulent scheme of the right:

I don’t imagine that anyone outside of Yaeger’s playgroup, Moms for Greenwich, cares about her Leftist political views, but it’s odd: until now, her publication has mostly confined itself to printing local ads, letters to the editor, other organizations’ press releases, and, to its credit, admirable coverage of the doings of our local P&Z, whose interminable public hearings no one else has the patience to sit through. So what knotted her knickers now?

Is this a new version of her paper we’re witnessing, or just a desperate cry for help from someone pushed off the cliff by our recent local elections? I’ll stop by her site occasionally to see if she continues to deteriorate, and if so, whether there’s anything I can do to help. 2024 promises to be a traumatic year for many our most fragile citizens.
