You could watch those Stamford-bound bicyclists from this one's front porch, if it had a front porch; if you could see Sound Beach Avenue.

Sound Beach Avenue

After a long hiatus, 406 Sound Beach Avenue is back on the market and priced at $2.675 million. That’s a vast improvement over the $3.390 million ($4.843 in current dollars) it unsuccessfully sought for 612 days in 2008-2010, and in fact, it seems pretty reasonable for today’s market.

Just four bedrooms and two baths in this 1900 home, but it sits on 0.68 of an acre, which leaves a large amount of room for growth, though the long access driveway will not count towards the FAR allowance. It’s also on a backlot; not a disadvantage on busy Sound Beach.

Worth taking a look at, in my opinion.
