Two over-ask sales reported
/The owners of 150 Zaccheus Mead Lane paid $4.8 for it in January 10, 2023 (the seller had priced it at a mere $4.3), reloaded the toilet paper rolls, switched out a couple of the kitchen light fixtures, and returned it to the market in November at $5.3 million. It closed Friday, sold to a NYC buyer for $5,540,000.
Of note, perhaps, is that the seller specifically excluded “the five TVs on the second floor”. At this price, and considering that televisions are obsolete within 3-4 years anyway, I’m amused.
MY PRECIOUS(es):
Further down the price scale, 277 Riversville Road asked for $1.595 million and got $1.7. Built in 1900 and sold as is” (not uncommon for estate sales), at this price it my well have to a builder.
