Seven years and counting, 41 Hurlingham / 1 Cowdray tries a cross-border appeal to a new audience

someone’s compass is awry

41 Hurlingham Drive, up in Conyers Farm, sold for $8,512,500 back in 2001, and after tearing down the original house, the buyer’s been trying to sell it since 2016. He began at $6, raised it to $7, dropped it as low as $4 million in 2019, then raised it to $6.950 in 2021, and watch it expire this morning, still asking for $5.8 million. But an hour later it’s back: the same 12.6 acres, but newly-christened 1 Cowdry Park Drive, priced at $4.5 million, and relocated to the other side of the border and shown as an Armonk listing.

A curious strategy.
