Back again, without ever getting to "there"

15 Upper Cross Road, which failed to sell at $11,997,000 in 2022, is now with a new broker and has a new price of $9.450.

I’m not persuaded that this remodeling can be best described as “Thoroughly reimagined for today's lifestyle, this stylish fusion of luxurious modern function and 1906 architectural craftsmanship”, but that’s probably just my personal reaction to the decorations they’ve strewn about the place. Certainly, it needed major renovations to bring it up to date, and there are still a lot of those 1906 features to be seen, so … good: far better than tearing it down, as has happened to so many of the classics in town. And if the new owner, when one appears, will just bring in The Zebra and the Orange, she’ll be all set for another century or so.
