A price cut on Frye ''Lake" (sic), but the owners are still a long way from being underwater

314 Stanwich Road has dropped a cool million, from $8.250 million to $7.250. It’s been on the market since last June, so I’d say this price cut was overdue.

It’s a nice house, but I remember being slightly underwhelmed by it when it came on, new, in 2004; I think my objection was to its lack of a front yard, though that was made up for by the pond in back. The market must have agreed with me, somewhat, because it sold to the present owners for $5.475 on an asking price of $6.3.
