What people like Bragg and his ilk don’t realize is that abandoning the rule of law and trying to eliminate the right of self-defense will not bring peace to the streets, but will instead bring about an entirely new level of violence. Progressives don’t believe it, but the social contract is not a suicide pact, and the people are, first, going to take matters in their own hands, and then, I predict, turn on the government that’s trying to kill them.
