25 Brown House Road, Old Greenwich, listed at $1.395 million in March, went to contract in April, and closed on Friday for $1,422,900. The owners paid $1.010 for it in 2005, so this price 18 years later doesn’t seem out of line. Still, it wasn’t long ago that a lot of sellers were fortunate to get back what they’d paid for their home originallly.
