(Greenwich) Park Avenue sale

99 Park Avenue has sold for $4.812 million; the seller had asked $4.825, so close enough.

A very nice, renovated 1923 home on what’s one of my favorite streets in what I call central Greenwich, even if some readers like to disagree with my geography. And no, I don’t care that Park Avenue’s a cut-through; I like it, and judging from how long many owners stay here, I’m not alone.

Previous price history is interesting: it sold in 2006 for full price, $3.695 million, but only fetched $3.270 in 2020. The 2021 renovations and the resurgent post-COVID market have made quite a difference in the past two years.
