"Kid's are resilient", she said

So we gocha uke flag, plus an american one, representing fleeced taxpayers, yur black power thing, and … a furry?

NEA Union head Randi Weingarten made that claim repeatedly as she lobbied to keep schools shuttered and closed during the Great Lockdown while her members relaxed at home on full pay. So how’d that work out? The teachers did just fine, thank you; the children, not so well.

I’VE SEEN THE LOCKDOWNS AND THE DAMAGE DONE: What the New, Low Test Scores for 13-Year-Olds Say About U.S. Education Now.

The math and reading performance of 13-year-olds in the United States has hit the lowest level in decades, according to test scores released today from the National Assessment of Educational Progress, the gold-standard federal exam.

The last time math performance was this low for 13-year-olds was in 1990. In reading, 2004.

Performance has fallen significantly since the 2019-2020 school year, when the coronavirus pandemic wrought havoc on the nation’s education system.

The pandemic didn’t wreak the havoc. Government and our educators did.

Did Weingarten experience living with locked-down, isolated school children during the Panic? She did not. In fact, she’s never been a mother at all, although she apparently claims that she is, kinda, sorta, because, well, it’s complicated.

She has no kids of her own, but her “wife” was previously married to another lesbian, and that woman has two kids from a marriage to a person (correctly) identifying as a male. According to Weingarten, that makes her a mother, and who are we to disagree? What I do know about her is that she’s a criminal, and deserves to be locked up in the same cell with Fauci and the rest of the Wu Hu Flu Gang.
