Back on the market: Skyridge Road
/26 Skyridge Road, $5.750 million (it wouldn’t sell at $4.785 in 2019-2020). Skyridge is a great street, although the best views are from houses on the east side, and this one’s on the west.
It looks like a nice house, and it was built in 2001 by Aberdeen which was one of the best builders in the area back then, so my attention was drawn to this passage in the listing:
New roof, new septic fields, new HVAC system, new water filtration system all done in 2023!
A cedar shingle roof might fail in just 20 years, I suppose, and I can understand a homeowner replacing it with synthetic shakes, but a septic field? And the HVAC system? I’m surprised, and it makes me wonder what else Aberdeen may have gotten wrong.
