Builder-Buyer?

2 Sinawoy Road, Cos Cob, was listed at $1.250 million and is reported pending after just two days. It’s a perfectly nice house, but someone has apparently committed himself to buying it without a mortgage contingency and, mostly, has waived a building inspection. It’s the latter that makes me think that the buyer has no intention of leaving the house standing.
