The perils of riverbank living
/284 Riversville Road, purchased for $2.056 million in 2007 and back on the market since 2018 at $2.195 million, has dropped its price to $2.1 million. It’s a nice-looking home, but it’s perched just a few feet above the Byram River, and it floods. Indeed, just that reason was recently used to reopen the judgment of foreclosure that had entered against the owners and gain an extension of time.
That makes for a tough sell.
