A very decent return on a downtown property

25 Elm Place was purchased for $1.4 million in 2019; the property was already in very nice condition for an 1898 home, but the buyers redid it completely, and relisted it for $2.4 million two weeks ago, and it’s already pending.

I can easily see its attraction; single-family, rther than condo, within easy walking distance to Greenwich Avenue, and the original 1898 street appearance was retained. So good on the owners, and congratulations; I’m sure it’s going for more than the asked-for $2.4.
