Sally Maloney listed 1 Stepping Stone Lane for $2.650 million on April 1st, and it was reported under contract by April 3rd. That contract seems to have fallen through, because the house is back on the market today but this time, it’s looking for $2.800.

Now, Sally is known for her gleeful, mischievous sense of humor, so it’s possible that the first go-round was just an April Fool’s joke — she’s such a card — but it’s more likely that numerous offers were received, all well above $2.650, so when the first deal fell apart, Sally revised her asking price to reflect that interest.
