45 Lismore Lane

45 Lismore Lane

David Ogilvy listed 45 Lismore Lane at $2.995 million in 2004 and it sold immediately (as it should have - it was a very nice house for the right person) via bidding war for $3.010 million. He's brought it back today for the estate of that buyer and has again listed it below $3, at $2.950. I haven't seen it yet but judging from the pictures (taken in the summer, for some reason), nothing's changed on its exterior, and the listing makes no mention of any improvements, so it's a fair assumption that the house remains the same today as it was 13 years ago.

In fact, not even Ogilvy's description has changed all that much.

Here's the 2004 listing:

SPECTACULAR LAKEVIEWS TO WEST AND SOUTHWEST OF SCENIC,ROUND HILL GOLF COURSE IN DISTANCE WITH BEAUTIFUL SUNSETS FROM THIS WONDERFULLY PRIVATE HILLTOP NEAR END OF QUIET LANE WITH WALKING & BICYCLING FROM FRONT DOOR IN HEART OF MID-COUNTRY.LUXURIOUS ONE FLOOR LIVING-GRACIOUS,TRADITIONAL LIVING ROOM AND DINING ROOM OPEN TO EXPANSIVE FLAGSTONE TERRACE.LIBRARY COULD BE SECOND MASTER.VERY TRADITIONAL FEEL & DECORATION

And here's 2017's - why mess with perfection?
