140 Park Avenue, Greenwich, has closed at $1.9 million. That's not bad; it was listed for $1.995, but the last time it sold, back in 2004, it was listed for $1.799 and a bidding war drove it up to $2 million. It took longer to sell this time, and it brings to mind the era when land in Greenwich appreciated. 

Nice house, by the way, if someone wants a great almost-in-town location for not a huge amount of money.

19 Desiree Drive

The seller of 19 Desiree Drive must look back on that era with longing, for the house he bought new in 2004 for $4.9 million has just sold for $3.1. Ow. On and off the market since 2010, it started at $5.595, but it wasn't meant to be.
