Sale and a contract, two bits
/33 Boulder Brook Road has sold, for $4,8 million, after starting off at an asking price of $5.795. It sold for $5.050 in 2013, and $4.882 in 2011, so the recovery trend seen on this road in recent years would appear to have slowed.
And just to linger in the Debbie Downer mode for a moment longer, I can report that the 15-acre building lot at 65 Conyers Farm, asking $3.595 million, finally has a contract. The sellers paid $5.125 for it in 2007 and spent a small fortune on architectural plans and such before changing their minds and putting it back up for sale in 2010 for $5.975. It's taken seven years, but they can now see the folly of changing houses in mid-stream. Or perhaps the wisdom: my personal opinion is that they've dodged a bullet by unloading this land on an unsuspecting buyer, but then, I'm a pessimist by nature, known in my family as "Eeyore". You may have a sunnier disposition.
