It'll probably sell for more than 6 Stallion Trail, but how much more?
/7 Wyckham Hill Road, on the market since 2013, when it began at $12.950, has now been cut to $8.290 million. The owner bought it new in 2004 for $6.4, and, perhaps foolishly, expanded it from its modest 10,000 square feet to 14,000, while neglecting to shift the Merritt Parkway away from the neighborhood. Wykham's just across North Street from Stallion Trail, and both streets suffer from the highway that runs past them.
This particular home is far enough removed from that asphalt ribbon to escape much of its noise, but the mere presence of the road depresses prices. My personal opinion is that even $8 million is a stretch.
