18 FLOWER LANE

18 FLOWER LANE

18 Flower Lane, off Upland Drive, hit the market today at $4.350 million, just a touch over the $4.250 the owners paid for it new in 2001. Given the money put into renovations over the past 16 years, there's no run here.

Of course, the owners, he of Morgan Stanley, have built a brand new home up on Lake Avenue and already moved into it, so they probably priced it at what they hope will move the place quickly, rather than try to make money on it. And from the little I know of what Morgan Stanley executives earn, I'm guessing they can afford the hit.

And the Greenwich stager has been at work here, bringing with her all the requisite animal skins and furniture, so maybe this will spark a bidding war.

(looks like a nice house, by the way)
