/Aetna is moving its headquarters and 6,000 employees out of Hartford, and the state. So Hartford's bankruptcy is moved up - guess which town is going to be looked to to bail it out?
UPDATE: Sheesh, even folks in Maine have noticed what's going on south of their border and are pleading with their legislature to repeal the new surcharge on "the rich" so the state doesn't "end up like Connecticut". It won't happen: the new majority in Maine is comprised of out-of-state liberals clustered in Portland and its and nearby towns, and they're busy raising taxes, banning hunting and guns, and in general, transforming their adopted state into a New England blue state.
