Tolls are being planned for every major highway in the state, "to pay for the infrastructure". Leave aside the fact that the legislature diverted every penny of revenue from our gasoline/diesel taxes for decades, thereby ensuring that our roads and highways would fall apart,  any new funds will go to boondoggles like the billion-dollar high speed train from New Haven to Waterbury, a route that no one but a Democrat could believe is necessary. But we must build it because global warming.
