Designer Cindy Rinfret's home at 304 Taconic Road is back on the market after taking a hiatus in January. New price, $5.3 million.
Aside from having to like the Rinfret style - I don't - a buyer must also want a sprawling, somewhat illogical layout, with the master bedroom a long, long way from the others. So far no one has, and it's been for sale since 2009.
The listing notes that the "original price was $15,500,000", which is true, but rather than impart a sense of value, that's a bit of information that only shows, to me, the existence of a delusional owner and her real estate agent.
do you suppose rinfret's the one responsible for "the zebra"?
she certainly seems fond of the motif
an ironic reference to the orange: too subtle?
