Bidding war in mid-country!

8 Joshua Lane (off North Street, near North Street School) was listed in May for $4.450 million and went to contract almost immediately. It closed today for $4.7 million. It's a truly beautiful house, as I pointed out when it came on the market in May. The location is close to town, the yard's great, as is Joshua Lane itself, and the price was competitive, even lower than many not-as-nice competitors, so all in all, if any house in mid-country was going to draw multiple buyers, this would be the one.
