Don't ask me about Apple service
/And certainly don't try calling or texting me until further notice. Arrrgh.
In the meantime, thee is real estate news today in the way of closings and a contingent contract:
159 Taconic Road opened at $9.595 million 598 days ago, sold today for $7 million. It's beautiful new construction, and while I'm not terribly surprised it didn't get that first price, I'm surprised that it took so long to find a buyer.
19 Mallard Drive, sold for $1.325 million. Not much to say abut this house except that, assuming someone has bought it to live in it, rather than a building site, it seems a reasonable price. My guess, however, is that it will join the other homes here that have been torn down, in which case, it might be pricey.
And 160 Bedford Road, asking $2.495 million, reports a contract. Completely redone, with a lot split off, it might have had more exterior charm back when it sat on 8 acres, but the interior was a complete mess: EOS will remember the goose in diapers past owners, long ago, keep here, so it had to be done.
