Just curious
/Does anyone remember where criminal John Galanis lived when he was here in Greenwich? The (second) conviction of his son Jason, reported today in Greenwich Time, describes Jason as a Greenwich native so, curious, I looked him up, and found a rich trove of articles about his father John, who indeed did live in town. John Galavis's mansion here was eventually seized and sold off to provide some (limited) restitution to his victims, but I can find no information on the actual address of that house. I was in town back in the 80s, and practicing in the field of financial fraud, so you'd think I'd remember the crook, but I don't. Perhaps, maybe, that was his project down on Tomack Avenue in Old Greenwich? That's the best my diminishing brain cells can come up with.
SaxTom, you still out there? If anyone can come up with the newer, it'd be you, although, of course, anyone else should feel free to chime in.
