11 Hedgerow Lane, off the market since January (and on and off the market since 2012) is back, with a new broker and  new price; $5.6 million. That's an improvement over its 2012 price of $7.450, but even $5.6 still keeps it within the dead zone of the market.

Besides, I've always thought that the problem with this house lies within its higgledy-piggledy design as much as its price.

Let's just let a benign eye pass over this view

 Not just dated, obsolete. Home theatres have gone the way of mid-60s slide shows of your friends' latest vacation, or super 8 movies of their kid's performance in her school  play. admittedly, there's not much else to put in a windowless basement, but they're no selling point.

I'm seeing an increasing number of these fake, ironic references to  actual books in staged homes — are they the new zebra?
