Curiosity is one of the most permanent and certain characteristics of a vigorous intellect.
I won’t claim a “vigorous intellect”, but perhaps you do, and know, or can find the answer to this puzzler. I asked it of a fishing partner, a Harvard Law grad, Senior Partner, no less, and he told me that he’d never thought about it, and implied that he thought less of me for asking. I’ll bet FWIW readers can do better.
