Looks like a million bucks — ten of them, in fact

Having failed to sell at $11.5 million in 2016-2017, 59 Mooreland Road is back on the market today at $9.250 and I confess that although I don’t share the owner’s taste in interior decorating, this place is impressive: it actually looks like what a ten-million-dollar house should look like. A lot of houses in this range could be easily confused with their lesser kin in the $4-$6 range, but not this one.

Also, though the pictures don’t quite show it, the house is set waaay back from the road, high atop the hill, and it’s an impressive sight even before the peons knuckle the forehead and begin their climb to the service entrance.

Again, not the house for me, but if I had a limited budget of just ten-million and wanted a house to awe, say, investors in my latest Ponzi scheme, this is where I’d start.
