The GHS arena is coming

New bleachers, elevators, changing rooms (God forbid our student-athletes have to walk 300 yards to the existing ones), jumbotron, and limousine parking for the coaches. Initial cost, $2.5 million for stage one, $25 million for the final product?

In the meantime, our middle schools are falling apart. To the best of my knowledge, GHS has produced two NFL players in 40 years, Steve Young and Johnny Sullivan; will this new boondoggle double the yield? Do we care?
