Kara Philbin, BOE write-in candidate

A challenger to Democrat BOE candidate Laura Kostin has appeared.

Kara Philbin has entered the race as an Independent write-in candidate, which has historically been a losing proposition, but it’s long past time to overturn the cozy relationship that sees, year-after-year, decade-after- decade, the Democrats and Republicans split the eight board seats between them, 4-4. The result has been a string of incompetent school superintendents, and a weakened, social justice, hate America curriculum. Time for a change.

Why target Kostin in particular? Well, you have to start somewhere, and Kostin is as likely a candidate to send home as any other of her peers. She’s in favor of mask mandates, and, I believe, the same social justice curriculum that (most? All?) of the current crop supports. Maybe in 2024 we can run 8 challengers, but at least Philbin is a start, so good for her.
