A new market high?

22 Round Hill Club Road is new today at $19 million. It’s a nice old house on four acres, priced at a level that used to be reserved for direct waterfront or 100-acre equestrian facilities.

Time will tell whether it’s the price or the owner who’s high here.

UPDATE: Reader “Realtorme”, who knows absolutely everything about Greenwich real estate and its history, mentions in a comment that this property was once a collection of outbuildings belonging to the original, main house, “down the lane”. I wonder if he’s referring to 30 Round Hill Club Road, built in 1924, which is also for sale. It started at $20 million in 2015, and is now down to $13.5.
