647 River Road — the River Road that starts across from North Mianus School and runs north along the east side of the Mianus — reports a contract. Currently priced at $3.750 million, it sat for a year on the market at $3.695 from June 2020 until April of this year, when the price was hiked up and lo, it’s finally found a buyer. No word on its final price but at the least, upping the ante didn’t kill its chances.

Decent house, if indistinguishable from every other house built in this price range the past decade. This River Road never used to command anything like this price, and perhaps it won’t again, but for now, that’s the price of admission.
