Bidding war in Riverside
/48 Winthrop Drive, 2016 construction, priced at $4.695 million and gone straight to “pending” status.
But Winthrop’s long been a popular street/neighborhood, and price wars not unknown. This same property was listed at $1.975 as a teardown in 2014, and sold to these owners for $2.025.
Before that, in 1994, the now-razed original house listed at $550,000 and sold for $571,000, sold again in 2000 for $1.262 and once again, without noticeable improvements, for $1.885 in 2004.
