Sawmill Lane sells at a premium

46 Sawmill Lane couldn’t find a buyer at $1.795 million between October 2018 and August 2019, so it was rented out instead. It was put back up for sale this fall at that same price, and immediately drew multiple buyers; it closed yesterday at $2,050,000.

That would be more impressive if this house hadn’t sold for $2.7 million in 2007, before the current renovation was performed.

But 2007 was the peak of a buying frenzy, and we all know what happens to people who buy during one of those.
