UPDATE: Turns out, this was just (further) proof that liberals, being humorless themselves, can’t recognize the genre.

Some suggested that the DCCC had actually taken the graph from tweet that was meant to be a joke from liberal pundit Matthew Iglesias.

"what happens when your comms people don't understand sarcasm," Washington Post columnist Catherine Rampell tweeted along with a graph posted earlier that day from Iglesias sarcastically praising Biden for "fixing" inflation.

"oh my GOD it originated as a joke chart???" author Christopher Ingraham responded.
