Great Moments in Real Estate Pricing
/16 Park Avenue (Greenwich, not Old Greenwich) cut its price by a million dollars today, to $2.9. I still don’t get it.
The owner paid $1.775 in June 2021 , then put it back on the market in September, priced at $3.9 million and noting, appropriately, that it was being offered “as is”. Today’s price cut is welcome, but where’s the $1.125 appreciation coming from?
The listing discloses that “the owner is a real estate agent” which, given the accuracy of his estimate of value, I wouldn’t personally boast about, but. well, there it is.
