Holden sent along a wonderful TikTok video of a contemporary classroom, and while his is the best of the crop and I’ll lead with it, looking at the site (Libs of TikTock, naturally) I found some others that are worthy of an honorable mention.
(I apologize for the duplicate — several attempts to reduce it to just one failed, so I decided the heck with it)
It’s silly to suggest a correlation, but disparate discipline rates for misbehaving students are proof of racism, while 80% of inner-city high school graduates are unable to read, write, or commit arithmetic. While some have suggested that the lack of discipline in these schools unfairly punishes students who want to learn and thus condemns them to poverty, we know that that’s just white fragility speaking and must be ignored; nay, suppressed..
