Now, ordinarily, there are some substantial transaction costs for the seller in a real estate transaction (although in this case, the listing/selling agent is related to the sellers), but from a buyer’s perspective that’s irrelevant: what would have cost $1.8 two years ago now cost, in this particular instance, 22% more.
