Does anybody know what's going on here?

Walusky says COVID poses practically no risk to those who’ve been vaccinated.

If you’re still not convinced about getting vaccinated, or still believe that we need restrictive mandates to fight COVID, then you should take a look at the latest study by the CDC, highlighted by director Dr. Rochelle Walensky.

The agency looked at 1,228,664 people who were vaccinated between December 2020 and October 2021 …

• Of those, 2,256 developed COVID, or 0.1%

• Of those, 189 had a serious outcome, or 0.01%

• Of those, 36 died, or 0.0029%

• Roughly 28 of those who died had four or more comorbidities, including immunosuppression, diabetes, and chronic kidney, cardiac, pulmonary, neurologic and/or liver disease.

In short, if you’re vaccinated, the risk of death, or even hospitalization, from COVID is infinitesimally small. Like being-struck-by-lightning-in-your-lifetime small.

So that’s fabulous news; great! But ten there’s this guy:

For some reason, I can’t get the video to appear here, but you’ll find the video at the link, and he really does say that. I love what Walusky is (finally) reporting: America, get vaxxed, if you wish, strip off your goddamned face masks, and go back to life as it was. Certainly that’s what I’ve done, even in the face of still-hysterical civilians. But what’s with Pfizer? Is this just a set up for another government handout? How does his assertion that his company’s vaccine doesn’t work square with the CDC’s study that says it does? Is anyone telling the truth here?

I lost all trust in the healthcare industry two years ago; nothing that’s happened since has even begun to bring that back.
