When I grow up, I wanna be a headline writer for the Post

No one will ever match Vince, “Headless Body in Topless Bar” Musetto, but just the challenge of trying to honor his tradition would be cool.

This excerpt from Musetto’s obituary, by the way, is the perfect illustration of the difference between the Times and the Post:

It prompted witless snarking in egghead circles. The Post’s legendary metropolitan editor, Steve Dunleavy, countered, “What should we have said? ‘Decapitated cerebellum in tavern of ill repute’?” (The New York Times came close with, “Owner of a Bar Shot to Death; Suspect is Held.”)
