U.S. Surgeon General calls for banning the CDC from social media — at least, I assume he does
/“[W]hen it comes to how we root out the misinformation in society right now and give people access to accurate information, we’ve got to do several things. Number one, we’ve got to recognize that our technology platforms…particularly social media, these have an important role to play. These are the predominant places where we’re seeing misinformation spread.”
He’d like to see tech giants such as Spotify and Facebook further stamp out resistance:
“These platforms have still not stepped up to do the right thing and do enough…to reduce the spread of misinformation.”
For the past two years, the CDC has been promoting cotton masks (see above) for the prevention of transmission of the dreaded China Flu, even though it knew cotton masks were useless. They did it with full knowledge that they were duping the public into a false sense of security, just as they did with the 6’ “social distancing” rule which, again, they knew was arbitrary and ineffective.
Joe Rogan was just permanently banned for stating that masks won’t stop transmission; can we now expect the CDC to be similarly silenced?
