5 Pleasant View Place, Havemeyer, came on the market on August 17th with a price of $4.195 — I expressed some skepticism at the time — and has sat. Today it’s been marked down to $3.995, a tiny adjustment, of course, but maybe a sign that the edge markets are softening? We’ll see.

We won’t lose any sleep over the builder’s finances here, because he paid just $975,000 for the land in 2020.
