A friend asked a good question

I have proof!

If, as expected, the Orange Man announces his run for a second term in the White House tonight, what’s he going to do with himself for the next six months while there are no other active Republican campaigns going on?

He could, of course, conduct rallies where he touts his accomplishments and lays out a detailed plan of action for his 2024-28 administration, and that might persuade a lot of voters who’ve turned away from him to turn back in his direction. Judging from past behavior, he won’t do that, and instead, he will make a lot of noise, gleefully amplified by the media that hates him, claiming election fraud in 2020 and 2022, and attacking perceived Republican rivals. If he does that, I predict that he’ll have been reduced to an insignificant factor long before the ‘24 convention.

A King Lear without the Shakespeare.
